Italy. An interesting, infuriating place to live as a gin-raddled expat. Some notes and observations.

Tea Time
I have reverted (through a logistical cock-up) to leaf tea. And, whaddya know, it's better than tea bags. Still PG Tips of course but it's a nicer cuppa (or should that be mugga?). A proposito, do you like my new mug?
Good for you Ron. At last the Union Flag is being reclaimed from neo-fascists. My thirteen year old son is currently wearing Union flag Converse sneakers and listening to The Who.

I'm not a tea lover, but my mother-in-law does make a nice pot. She always uses leaf tea (and has yummy biscuits).
Very nice mug. Would hold a fair amount of grappa.
To be accompanied by a nice Garibaldi biscuit? (I can't believe how witty that is!)
Yeah; nice mug
You have a lovely mug...the ceramic thing your tea is in isn't bad either!
How long until we can rid our flag of the nasty blue bits? The sooner the better!
