Italy. An interesting, infuriating place to live as a gin-raddled expat. Some notes and observations.

'Ear 'ear
I would like to introduce the new addition to the Combo household to you. She is called Flossie and is a right little monkey. She has ears like semaphore railway signals as you can see.
I wonder how long it's going to take for her to learn that it's her leg she cocks rather than an ear. Or don't lady dogs do that ? Oh I don't know. Anyway, welcome to Combo Land. What have you called her? Something from Evelyn Waugh like Marchmain?

In England, Ron, we call that a dog.
My Korean students would call it Dinner. Or lunch if it's not very big.
Well blow me down Diplo if you ain't right. No wonder she wouldn't eat all those bananas I've been giving her.
Love the poochy, love the ears, love the name, love those eyes...can I have her? She would love Vinoland :)
