State Visit

Your Uncle Ronnie is in a bit of a panic. This extremely shaky pic is the drive at Casa Combo this evening. It snowed for over 24 hours, it's just stopped and although the snowplough passed at lunchtime, from the state of the road it might as well not have bothered. But will I get to Genoa for the flight to London tomorrow morning? If it snows again tonight it could be tight. Ooer!

Oh God! You Southerners....a bit of frost and you just fall to pieces. Look: you plum-voices have all got these stupid Turin Tractors, so just pop a flask into the glove box, select the gear that's left-and-back, don't let the needle on the big dial on the left go over 3000, and just amble off.

Streuth...if you lived in Sedbergh and had to deliver bales to t'tups day-in and day-out....

A F-A's right, you poof. It's all down hill for you anyway. Like life. Take the 4x4 Panda. You know it can make it.

Wow...that's fantastic. Why bother going to London when you have that at home?

I think London's a very bad idea. You could fall in with bad company.
