This is serious. I'm gutted for you. As though life couldn't get any worse, this happens. i'll start an ebay search right now. There must be another one somewhere on the planet.
I'm sure Ron won't mind me compounding his misery by saying that I was with him when he bought this tile. It was a spare from the refurbishment of Gants Hill on the Central Line. Mine's in front of me now, mercifully still intact. I use it as my coffee/tea/beer mat. Should I chuck it out of the window now in a gesture of solidarity?
Being a Northerner, I always enjoyed trips with Thud to 'the big smoke', particularly the tile work in various stations on the Tube...Baker Street comes immediately to mind. I commiserate with your loss of a little bit of home that meant so much to you :)
Evostick is good stuff. It looks as though you have all the bits and they are in clearly defined chunks. Stick it back together. With time you'll accept it. I have sveral similar keepsakes glued in the same manner. Kid yourself it adds to the character.

I broke my favourite dog mug the same day :)
I didn't break any ceramics today, but I did juggle two of my Penguin Books Mugs in the air when they slipped out of my hands whilst washing up.
