Italy. An interesting, infuriating place to live as a gin-raddled expat. Some notes and observations.

Yum yum
This was the accompanying plate of nibbles served as an aperitivo with a glass of Gavi di Gavi (not pictured) yesterday evening at a swish bar in town. And jolly nice it was too. Nearly couldn't take a second helping of rabbit at dinner later.
A nice Ted Lee pork pie would have improved that no end......and a pint of Timothy Taylor's. The absence of proper victuals is why the Italians haven't won 37 Gold Medals in the Beijing Cyclodrome....
Alice, you'll have to wait for more hunky biker pics I'm afraid. Toby Savage, archivist-in-chief, is in Goa at the 'One World, One Weld' Spot-Welding and re-Birthing Festival. Until such time as he re-emerges, spiritually awakened and carrying a large generator, we'll all be making do with the images to hand.

Timothy Taylor's.... don't get me started. That's a trigger phrase for a thirty year hangover round these parts.
Ron, don't you miss Walker's Crisps and the odd packet of Dry Roasteds? Don't answer that.
Listen, what you need with that lot is a couple of bottles of Badger Poacher's Choice (5.7%) and a big bag of pork scratchings.
Thought Alice might have a bit more to say about plates of meat.
Feet don't interest me, Fred. Are there any more pictures available of you on your motorbike?

The cigarettes belong to my Albanian catamite.
