Slashing down

The beginning of June sees the opening of the various swimming pools dotted around the area. Problem is, it's been pissing down for the past month and it shows no sign of letting up. I blame (in no particular order) Blears, Blair, Harman, Browne and Primarolo. And of course Brown the unelected boss. The B&B business is buggered. The vegetable plots are mudbaths. The game's up. Bollocks.

May I recommend going into 'The Rave Game'? At the one I attended over the weekend, apart from the unalloyed pleasure of seeing Camilla Jessop dancing naked in the Mud Pit, I earned a fortune from selling drugs! Since these were my special aspirin/gliclazide cocktail, with a bit of losartan thrown in, they are unlikely to cause any addiction or long-lasting effect to the eager users (bar hunger, tummy-rumbling and an inability to develop timber). Best of all, it was all pure profit as my doctor prescribes them for free (thank you Gordon).

Do not despair O Ronbo. Just put a bloom of bougainvillia in your black Brylcreemed hair and sing The Jolly Miller at the top of your voice out over the rain-soaked landscape. Always works for me: "A jolly miller once did live / Upon the River Dee / He worked and sang / From morn 'til night / No wealth or care had he....etc etc.
